Chiropractic is a recognized form of treatment
In 1978, the collective agreement between the Danish Chiropractor Association and the public health insurance came into force. A chiropractor is authorized by the Danish National Board of Health after completing education and a 1-year rotation with a chiropractor.
Chiropractors work as an integrated part of the Danish healthcare system and there is close dialogue with general practitioners and specialists. We can also refer directly to MRI scans at public hospitals.
